Chino
Farm roads, freeways, and new neighborhoods
Chino mixes farm and dairy land with fast-growing neighborhoods like The Preserve, and its roads reflect both. The 60 and the 71 cross the city, and Euclid Avenue, Central Avenue, Riverside Drive, Pine Avenue, and Kimball Avenue carry commuters alongside trucks and farm vehicles.
Long, straight roads invite speeding, and slow farm and work vehicles share them with commuters, so rear-end and broadside crashes are a real risk. When a work truck is involved, the driver’s employer and its insurer are often part of the claim.
Chino has its own police department, so crashes on city streets are reported to the Chino Police Department; crashes on the freeways, usually to the CHP. If a case has to be filed, it is usually filed in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
Our office at 700 E. Grand Blvd. in Corona is a short drive away. You can meet with us there, talk by phone, or start online.

What to do in the first week
01
Get care
See a doctor even if you feel fine, and keep every appointment. Gaps in treatment are one of the first things an insurer points to.
02
Preserve evidence
Photograph the scene and vehicles, note any company name on a work truck, and save dashcam and doorbell video before it is recorded over.
03
Report it
Report a crash to the Chino Police Department or, on the freeway, the CHP. Report a dog bite to animal control.
04
Call before you sign
Talk to us before you give a recorded statement or sign a release. The consultation is free.
Common questions
Chino injury questions
How much does it cost?
No fee and no costs unless we recover. We work on a contingency fee, and we explain the percentage in writing before you sign.
How long do I have to file?
Two years for most California injury lawsuits, and far less for claims against a public agency. Evidence fades quickly too, so the sooner you call, the more we can preserve.
Do I have to come to the office?
No. You can handle most of the claim by phone and online, or meet with us at our Corona office if you prefer.
What if a work truck hit me?
When a driver was on the job, the employer and its insurer are usually responsible too, which can mean more coverage. Note the company name on the vehicle and bring it to the consultation.
What if a city road or vehicle was involved?
A claim against the City of Chino, San Bernardino County, or Caltrans usually must be presented in writing within six months, before any lawsuit. Call early so that deadline does not pass.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Se habla español. Tell us when you call and we will arrange it.
